Some credit card companies market to those who have less than perfect credit, but do not want a secured card. If you qualify for one, it will usually start with a low credit line – say about $300 dollars.  That is fine, but you must pay your balance monthly and on time, in order to keep from paying the hefty finance charges!  Remember, use your credit card wisely, and you will be able to re-establish a healthy credit score.  It will take time and patience, but the payoff will be great!

Beware "quick fix" experts who charge a fee for helping you "fix your credit."  After paying several hundred dollars for their help, you may find that the only thing you have accomplished is made them a little richer. ?
